With Orwell at Las Vegas CES 2020

Orwell is among the few Italian Startups selected both by Italian Trade Agency and Eureka Park.

The largest and most influential technological event in the world. This is the CES (acronym for Consumer Electronics Show, ed) of Las Vegas, the real test for innovative technologies and global innovators. Here top brands do business and meet new partners and the brightest innovators dictate the line on the trends destined to mark the rest of the year that has just begun, and it is always here that most of the technologies that over the past four decades have been been able to revolutionize our way of life received the baptism of fire.

Started in June 1967 in New York as a spin-off of the Chicago Music Show, over the years the CES, in terms of innovation and change, has always kept up with its exhibitors, changing several times form, substance and even location: New York and Chicago, naturally, but also Philadelphia, Orlando, Atlanta and, of course, Las Vegas.

Those of you who have read Orwell, the book that represents our identity, perfectly know that the first part knots the threads of those stages also through the stories of absolute protagonists of that season, such as the co-founder of Atari Ted Dabney, just to name one.

Ergo, among those pages there is also the CES and the decisive role it played in the fate of new “technological creatures” such as Jay Miner’s Amiga and the best-selling computer in history, the legendary Commodore 64.

You will understand well the importance for our startup to be selected to go there as exhibitors.

With over 170,000 attendees, 4,500 exhibitors and around 1,100 industry leaders, what once was a traditional technology fair has turned into a global event for all sectors. «Companies across every major industry are using technology to transform their businesses, and CES 2020 will be the global stage for the latest innovation across all sectors,” said Karen Chupka, CES vice-president “The show will represent all facets of global business where attendees can expect the unexpected.”

It goes without saying that, starting today, on our Orwell.live we will offer you the most accurate coverage possible of the CES, starting right from the story of those performances that indelibly marked the succession of the events characterizing the digital revolution and, during the course of the event, offering exclusive content as well as a surprise sui generis, or in perfect Orwell style. Stay tuned!
